Sprintcar Pro Invitational Series Announced for 2026

A new era of elite dirt sim racing is set to begin in 2026 with the launch of the Sprintcar Pro Invitational Series.

23 December 2025

Formerly the highly successful ODSE (Oceanic Dirt Sim Events) Australian Sprintcar Championship, the series will be rebranded for the 2026 season and will operate under the Australian Sim Racing Group (ASRG) umbrella. The move marks a major step forward in the evolution of Sprintcar Sim Racing across Australia and New Zealand.

ASRG are the team behind the widely respected V8PRO Invitational Series, and aligning with the group ahead of the 2026 season will help elevate the new-look Sprintcar Pro Invitational Series to even greater heights. The championship is firmly positioned to remain the pinnacle dirt racing series in the Australian and New Zealand region, while also establishing itself as one of the leading dirt sim racing leagues globally.

"A major step forward in the evolution of Sprintcar Sim Racing"

The Sprintcar Pro Invitational Series will continue its partnership with Simspeed TV as the official broadcaster, ensuring fans can once again enjoy best-in-class live coverage throughout the 2026 season. In addition, the alignment with ASRG will deliver increased media exposure, enhanced presentation, and a stronger overall product, with long-term growth of the series at the core of the brief for all involved.

Expanded coverage will also create new opportunities for partners, teams and drivers, while an expanded prize pool with increased payouts is set to be introduced in 2026 as the series takes a significant step toward a more professional competition model.

On track, the standard is set to rise even further. A deeper driver pool will see competition reach new levels, with an influx of elite-level drivers from the United States expected to join the grid alongside a new wave of talented Australian and New Zealand competitors, further strengthening an already formidable field. Further announcements regarding the 2026 season, including calendar details and driver invitations, will be released in the coming weeks.
